John Unice Joins Eckert Seamans’ Pittsburgh Office
Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC, a full-service national law firm, is
pleased to announce that John G. Unice has joined the firm’s litigation
practice as an Associate, effective September 14, 2009. He is based in the
firm’s Pittsburgh office. Mr. Unice joins
Eckert Seamans from Jones Day.
Mr. Unice focuses his practice in a variety of commercial litigation
contexts, including product liability, bankruptcy litigation, employment matters
and insurance coverage. He has extensive experience in fact and expert
discovery, including the taking and defending of depositions and arguing
disputed discovery motions. In addition, Mr. Unice has drafted dispositive
and appellate briefs, argued dispositive motions and has first chair trial
experience. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of
Pittsburgh School of Law and his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude,
from the University of Richmond.
