David V. Radack is a Member in and is Chair of the Intellectual Property Department.  Mr. Radack also serves as a member of the firm's Board of Directors.

Mr. Radack's practice includes the full spectrum of Intellectual Property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets as well as technology and trademark licensing, sports, arts and entertainment law issues, computer law and intellectual property litigation.  Mr. Radack has represented a wide variety of clients including individuals, small and medium sized businesses, universities and colleges and Fortune 500 companies.  He has also worked closely with inhouse general attorneys as well as inhouse intellectual property specialists.

The clients Mr. Radack represents are involved in a number of businesses and technologies, including computer software, building products, metals, medical devices, packaging, consumer products, advertising, sports, arts and entertainment.  He has extensive experience in trademark law practice in both the courts and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).  Mr. Radack’s trademark law clients include and have included a major regional supermarket, a leading lawn and garden tool manufacturer and a national fast food chain, as well as several college and professional sports teams.

Mr. Radack is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to practice in the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and is a member of the American and Pittsburgh Intellectual Property Law Associations.  Mr. Radack has published numerous articles and has given several seminars on intellectual property law subjects.  A list of these articles and seminars, as well as a list of patents drafted and prosecuted by Mr. Radack, are available upon request.
